Steel Platform Design and Support
When transferring materials to building floors, if it is not possible to directly use cranes or other mechanical lifting equipment to transport materials to the structural floors, it is essential to use prefabricated cantilevered steel platforms for material transfer.
>Safety Precautions
The cantilevered steel platform should use I-beams or channel beams as primary and secondary beams, fully covered with scaffolding planks, securely fastened to the steel beams with bolts, or alternatively, fully covered with 4mm-thick steel plates welded to the steel beams.
To facilitate the securing of diagonal steel wires, four lifting rings should be pre-installed on the platform. Additionally, four lifting rings should be installed to facilitate crane lifting operations. When lifting the platform, use shackles instead of directly hooking the lifting rings with a hook. These lifting rings and lifting rings must be made of HPB235 round steel, welded to the main beams using lap welding, with a weld length of no less than 150mm and a weld height of no less than 6mm to ensure stability.
