Beijing Winter Olympics Venue Construction Project

With Beijing partnering with Zhangjiakou to secure the hosting rights for the 2022 Winter Olympics, the construction of the Winter Olympics has been receiving worldwide attention. The construction of venues and infrastructure for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics has started comprehensively.

The Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics will have a total of 25 venues located in the three competition zones of Beijing, Yanqing, and Zhangjiakou. Among them, there will be 12 competition venues and 13 non competition venues. Of the 25 venues, 10 are existing, 6 are planned for construction, 4 are for Winter Olympics construction, and 5 are temporary constructions. All newly built venues will meet the international green building assessment certification LEED standards.
